About Prof. Nanavati
P rof. Rajendra I. Nanavati was an outstanding scholar-teacher of Sanskrit from Gujarat. He had a long career of nearly five decades to his credit with noteworthy contribution in various fields of academics like teaching, research, guidance, administration, organization, social service etc. He had written and edited number of books. His studies
in the fields of Sanskrit Poetics and Great Indian Epics are internationally recognized as significant contributions. He was editor of four research journals. He had contributed more than hundred research paper and learned essay in English and Gujarati to international research journals and reputed literary periodicals. He had contributed numerous articles to anthologies, collections and encyclopedias.

Morari Bapu, Doctors of Letters (Hon.)(2013) from Somnath Sanskrit University, All India Oriental Conference – Sectional President since 1994/ Executive Committee member.
